Mr. Gilmore qualified from Kings College, London in  December 1985 and has been working in general dental practice ever since. He has worked in London, Australia, Suffolk and Brighton eventually arriving in Chard in 1995. He purchased Springside in 2008. He has not specialised in any particular branch of dentistry believing that “general" or “family” dentistry is a worthwhile specialism in itself.

Julie-Anne qualified from Bristol University in 1995 and spent 10 years working with her husband Patrick, running their family dental practice in the West Midlands. The beautiful South West called and the family relocated in 2005 in order to raise their three children in this wonderful part of the world.

Whilst Julie-Anne has over 15 years experience in general dentistry, she has a particular passion for children’s dental care and in prevention. She is involved in an initiative with Somerset PCT to use fluoride applications alongside diet advice and close monitoring to prevent dental cavities from forming. She was delighted to find in Springside a practice which shared her ethos and ideas. Having settled with her family in the area, she has every intention of remaining a long term presence at the practice.
